Two Modesto escorts have been arrested after allegedly trying to pick up a woman at the airport, according to a report by ABC7.
The two women were arrested Monday and charged with conspiracy to commit indecent liberties with a minor and transporting an intoxicated person.
According to the Modesto Police Department, the suspects met the woman at a Modesto-area airport parking lot on Monday and arranged to pick her up at about 8 p.m.
They then drove to her home in Modesto, but left a note that read, “It’s illegal to pick anyone up at this time,” according to police.
The Modesto City Police Department reported that when they stopped to retrieve the woman, they discovered she had a minor child.
Police arrested the two women, identified as Ashley and Alexis Broussard, at the scene, and booked them into the Modestolos jail on a misdemeanor count of conspiracy to transport an intoxicated minor.
They were released after posting $1,000 bond, police said.
“The Modesto Escort Squad and the Modeston Police Department are working together to track down the suspects,” Modesto police said in a statement.
The women had been in the city on vacation for two weeks, according the Modestos Daily News.
